The Oceanic Detachable LARP Spear, created by Fucina del Drago, is the weapon needed by anyone versed in the arts of polearm weapons.
Its versatility as a deployment weapon as a dueling tool makes it perfect for both a warrior but also for a spellcaster who wants to do his part or wants to imprint his magical power into his spear and then hurl it at his enemies.
The Spear is made of a solid fiberglass core, reinforced with thickened Kevlar at the tensile points and especially at the tip, an area in which the casing allows tip strikes safely: in short, you can use this LARP weapon like its real-life counterpart, resting assured that the inner core will not puncture the outer layer of plastazote.
In the center of the spear is the real innovation: a metal screw joint that allows the spear to be split in two for more convenient carrying but not only that. Being disassemblable, the lance can be shortened if provided with a shorter handle, and to do so you need only contact us privately to agree on how to do it.
The Oceanic Deatachable LARP Spear is covered entirely in suede, offering a comfortable and secure grip at every point on the shaft.
This coating provides a firm grip on the entire surface of the weapon and makes it easy to replace the leather in case of maintenance or cosmetic change.
We recommend the use of a silicone or vaseline oil for proper maintenance, which should be applied to the weapon whenever possible to keep it oiled and thus less subject to wear and tear given by friction and blows received.
We do not recommend prolonged exposure to the sun directly or to heat sources, given the nature of the materials used to make it.
