The LARP Schiavona is the ultimate sword: lightweight, long and with a cage to protect your hand, it can become your trusted companion on the battlefield.
Our schiavona is made from premium-quality plastazote coated in colored latex and reinforced at major tension points by layers of Kevlar, all glued firmly to the central fiberglass core.
The flexibility of the sword does not compromise its structure but increases its maneuverability during the clash. Like the real model, our model from LARP includes a finely cut and laser-etched cage to protect the hand, making it possible to perfectly replicate the piece.
The cage is also attached to the central body of the sword with Kevlar reinforcements still in foam sections, which are stronger than ordinary plastazote.
We recommend the use of a silicone or Vaseline oil for proper maintenance, to be applied to the weapon whenever possible to keep it oiled and thus less subject to wear and tear given by friction and blows received. We do not recommend prolonged exposure to the sun directly or to heat sources, given the nature of the materials used to make it.
